Speaking My Truth
A whisper stirs inside my chest,
A voice long silenced, seeking rest.
It trembles first, unsure, unseen,
But now it rises, wild and keen.
No longer bound by fear or shame,
I speak my truth, I name my name.
Through doubt, through shadowed paths I’ve walked,
But now my soul demands it’s talked.
The world may bend, the skies may part,
But what I hold within my heart
Is fierce, untamed, and bold as fire—
A truth no force can ever tire.
So hear me now, with open ear,
This voice of mine, both bright and clear.
I stand in light, no mask to wear,
For in my truth, I’ve found my air.
